Plum Pudding

Every family has a few Christmas traditions and this one’s ours. By using a blend of pale ale and crystal malt, Styrian Golding hops, and some festive ripe fruit flavours, it’s nothing less than Christmas wrapped up in a glass. We all love brewing it, almost as much as we love tasting it. Available from mid-November until the end of December.

Join us December 8th for our amazing Christmas Markets.
Mulled wine, hot chocolate & artisan stalls filled with sweets & treats take over our cosy country pub.

Enjoy laughter, beer & Christmas cheer along side some great live music all in aid of some amazing charities :
Maggies cancer support, lullaby & The Dogs Trust.

Weather its celebrating with friends,catching up with loved ones or just popping down to bag yourself that extra special Christmas gift there's something for everyone.

We still have some space left for stall holders so if your arty /crafty bake or make please get involved and help us support these amazing causes.
£10 a stall which goes to charity then what ever you make is yours on the day.

Visited here today with my boyfriend and we both opted for the turkey roast dinner. The pub is gorgeous and the roast was honestly one of the best I've had. Very generous portion and every part of it was so tasty. All the staff were very tentative and friendly. Will definitely be back again very soon.

We went to a private function held in an outside room. The heating and log fire was fantastic. The staff were so obliging and the food good. I ordered fish and chips and it was wonderful. There were 28 of us and everyone seemed to enjoy the food.

Beautiful food in a scenic, peaceful setting. Friendly helpful staff, great ambience. Food is of high quality, tasty and flavoursome. Great menu, lovely old building. Can't fault it!
